Console Commands

A reference for helpful console commands, including some that are commonly misnamed or misunderstood.

Movement & Collision

Fly

Disables gravity and Z-velocity calculations for the Character class. The pawn can fly freely.

Ghost

Identical to Fly, but also disables collision for the Character class. This is the closest built-in equivalent to "noclip."

Walk

Re-enables both collision and gravity for the Character class. Use this to return to normal movement after Fly or Ghost.

Teleport

Teleports the player to the location currently in the center of the screen. Especially useful when combined with ToggleDebugCamera.

ChangeSize <Size>

Scales the player's size to <Size> multiplied by the default size.

Camera & View

ToggleDebugCamera

Toggles the built-in Unreal debug/freecam camera.

FOV <FOV>

Changes the current field of view to the supplied value.

NextViewMode

Advances the current view mode. Often appears to do nothing, but there is a specific view mode very similar to unlit mode. Running the command approximately 3 times should reach it.

Targeting & Actors

DestroyTarget

Destroys (removes) the actor currently in the center of the screen.

DamageTarget

Damages the actor you are looking at, sourced from the player.

DestroyAll

Destroys all actors of a specified class.

DestroyAllPawnsExceptTarget

Destroys all pawns except the current pawn target. If no pawn target is found, nothing is destroyed.

DestroyPawns

Destroys (by calling destroy directly) all non-player pawns of a specified class in the level.

Summon <ClassName>

Loads the specified class and spawns an actor of that class.

Player & Game State

God

Disables the built-in Unreal damage interface for the player (invulnerability).

Note: This does not affect any damage systems built outside of the Unreal damage system.

Slomo <Value>

Changes the global time dilation to the supplied value.

ExampleEffect
Slomo 0.5Game runs at half speed
Slomo 1.0Normal speed
Slomo 2.0Game runs at double speed

FreezeFrame

Pauses the game for a specified delay in seconds.

CheatScript <Script Name>

Executes commands listed in a CheatScript.ScriptName ini section of DefaultGame.ini.

Debug & Multiplayer

DebugCreatePlayer <Player Index>

Creates a local player controlled by the supplied player index. Use -1 to automatically select the next available controller.

DebugRemovePlayer <Player Index>

Removes the local player at the specified player index.

Stat FPS

Toggles the built-in Unreal Engine FPS counter.

DumpChatState

Dumps known chat information.

DumpVoiceMutingState

Dumps the current state of voice chat.

Events

ce <Event Name>

Attempts to execute a level's custom event with the supplied name.

ke <Target> <Event Name>

Attempts to execute the supplied event on the supplied target. If <Target> is *, the command will attempt to execute on all actors in the level.

Bug Reporting & Location

BugIt

Prints the current BugIt location in copy-paste format for both direct messaging and as a ?options string for launch URLs. Also takes a screenshot.

BugItGo

Moves the player and sets their rotation to the passed-in values. Easier to use than BugIt for raw number input in the console.

BugItStringCreator

Creates a BugItGo string without taking a screenshot. Useful when you only need the string.

LogLoc

Logs the current location in BugIt format without taking a screenshot or further routing.

Miscellaneous

FlushLog

Forces a flush of the output log to file.

SetWorldOrigin

Translates the world origin to the current player position.

SetMouseSensitivityToDefault

Returns mouse sensitivity to its default value.

InvertMouse

Inverts the mouse. Backwards-compatibility alias for InvertAxisKey.
