Overview
UnlockedKit is the desktop workspace for Lua projects, runtime installs, and the Unlocky assistant.
UnlockedKit is the project-based Lua workspace for Unreal Engine games. It combines the Unlocked Runtime, a live Lua editor, runtime output, and the Unlocky assistant in one desktop app.
What you can do
- Detect supported Unreal Engine games in your Steam libraries, or add one manually.
- Install and update the Unlocked Runtime in your games.
- Keep Lua mods in ordinary folders with nested files and subfolders.
- Work across multiple editor tabs with auto-save, validation, and live reload.
- Stream runtime logs into the integrated output panel.
- Let Unlocky inspect the running game and edit your project.
- Store API keys securely with Environment keys.
- Keep projects in the cloud with an Unlocked+ or Unlocked++ account. See Cloud projects.
Download
The Windows installer is at r2.blonkware.com/unlockedkit/UnlockedKit-win-Setup.exe. The app updates itself.
Account
UnlockedKit signs in with your UnlockedEditor account using email and password, or Discord. Refresh credentials are stored in the Windows credential vault, never in plain files. AI provider keys, model routing, credits, and chat history live on the UnlockedEditor backend.
